Quiet Room in Shared Apartment
I’m looking for one person to fill the second bedroom starting 9/1/26 to 8/31/27. Rent is $1450 including water. Utilities average between $100 - $150 depending on the seasons for electricity, wifi and gas. First and last month due at signing ($2900)... . No security deposit or broker fees. A parking spots is available for an additional $120/month. Right of the intersection of Brighton Ave and Harvard Ave. Easy commute into Cambridge as well as downtown Boston. Immediate access to the 66 and 57 bus lines as well as easy walking distance to the green line (B line). The apartment is on the 2nd floor and gets lots of natural light. Available bedroom is in the back and gets very little street noise. Shared bath (with tub). Laundry in basement with cashload card ($2 per wash and dry cycle).

I work a hybrid position at MGH and work from home Monday and Tuesday with rotating Fridays. I’m also a full time graduate student in the MLIS program at Simmons. I do a lot of yoga and reading and tend to be more of a homebody, but still enjoy a good outing. Would love to find someone wanting a friendly relationship but am also opening to just sharing space and keeping private. There’s lot of really good restaurants and a 10/15 minute walk to Star market and a cute Bazaar a little less than that.
I do have a dog. He’s well mannered and I keep things cleaned up after him. He’s usually with me or in my room, but you’re welcome to hang out with him if that’s something you’re interested in. A second pet could be allowed, it would just have to go through the landlord and we would need to meet prior to make sure they get along.
